For 36 years, Sister M. Therese Gottschalk served as president and CEO of St. John Medical Center and the St. John Health System.  Her story is now on “Voices of Oklahoma,” an oral preservation of the state’s diverse heritage.

Interviewed by long-time Tulsa radio host John Erling, “Voices” explores Sister Therese’s life, from her childhood in Germany and her decision to enter the order of the Sisters of the Sorrowful Mother, to becoming a naturalized citizen of the United States and her career as a hospital administrator in Tulsa and Roswell, New Mexico.
