A Note from Father Jack

Dear Parishioners,


I was recently at a diocesan meeting looking at the situation of funding for our retired priests.  I saw the individual parish contributions for the annual second collection for retired priests.  The Church of St. Mary was by far the single largest contributor again this year at over $40,000.  I know all of us are concerned about our retirement and how we will provide for it.  While the estimated future need is still underfunded, the situation is better because of the generosity of people like you.  Thank you for your ongoing generosity in providing for the needs of the priests who have served so generously in the diocese.
