Desserts Needed for Homeless Christmas Luncheon

Please help us feed over 600 homeless people!



The St. Mary Social Justice Ministry helps the Day Center for the Homeless with their annual Christmas dinner for their guests by providing desserts to go along with their meal. 

Please bring any dessert to the St. Mary Office Annex on Tuesday, December 9th between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. and we will take them the the Day Center for the Homeless.

If you have any questions, please call Hilary Elias at (918) 749-2561 or helias@churchofsaintmary.com.

For the homeless in our community, this Christmas Dinner is the only meal they will receive during the festive holiday months. Please help us spread Christ's love by helping our neighbors in need.

Hats & Gloves Needed!

Our first cold snap of the season is upon us and it's cold outside!
Imagine being out in this cold weather without shelter or anyway to stay warm. Our Social Justice Ministry is collecting hats and gloves for our neighbors in need who come to us for assistance. We are collecting for both children and adults. You can drop them off at the Office Annex during the week or in the shopping carts by the church doors when you come to Mass on the weekends.

Family Christmas Choir Now Forming!

What are your plans for Christmas Eve?

Do you love to sing?


The Family Christmas Choir is now forming! No matter how many or few family members in your family, you can come be a part of the music and have your own spot in the choir loft. The choir will perform at the 5:00 p.m. Vigil Mass on Christmas Eve. Rehearsals are on Sunday mornings in December at 11:45 a.m.

Special Music Planned for the Feast of Christ the King Mass


This Sunday is the feast of Christ the King, and we will have some very special music at the 10:30 AM mass! Music of Handel, Vivaldi, and Bach; favorite hymns such as “Crown Him with Many Crowns” and “Jesus Shall Reign”; and a beautiful setting of Psalm 23, “The Lord is My Shepherd” by Howard Goodall. Joining the adult choir will be musicians from the Tulsa Opera and the Tulsa Symphony. Help us sing praise to Christ our King as we close this liturgical year!

Virtual Pilgrimage to Lourdes, France

Experience a Virtual Pilgrimage of Lourdes, France

North American Lourdes Volunteers will present a 90-minute prayerful VIRTUAL PILGRIMAGE to Lourdes, France. During this guided Lourdes experience, you will immerse yourself in the Gospel Message of Lourdes as given by Our Lady to St. Bernadette.  You will have the opportunity to touch the Grotto Rock and to experience the healing grace of Lourdes Water. As part of this spiritual opportunity to draw nearer to God with Our Lady and St. Bernadette, you will receive a Eucharistic blessing and pray the Rosary.  A Plenary Indulgence is granted to all the faithful, under the usual conditions, who attend a Virtual Pilgrimage with North American Lourdes Volunteers.  Come and experience the healing grace of Our Lord Jesus Christ through His Immaculate Mother.  Invite your family, children and friends! Our Lady extends her invitation to all!

Ladies of St. Mary! Come and reflect on this Advent season with fellow female parishioners. We will come together with meditative praise and worship music and view personally decorated table themes. Share wine and dessert and listen to personal advent moments shared by other women as well as a special guest speaker who will conclude the evening with a spirit filled talk to prepare our hearts for this joyous season.

Table of Remembrance

During the month of November parishioners are invited to display a photograph of their deceased loved ones on the Table of Remembrance. The table is located beneath the stand glass window of Mary in the naive of church. Photographs should be framed and no larger than 8 /12" x 11." Please mark the back of the photograph with the name and phone number of the owner of the photograph. 

Photos may be dropped off at the Annex to Deacon Rich Bender through November 2nd or brought to the church beginning on Sunday, November 2nd, The Commemortion of all the Faithful Departed.

Read the book then join Deacon Gary Gamino and other parishioners for a book discussion and presentation on Monday, Nov. 10th in Beckerle Hall at 7:00 p.m.

This is the first of a four part book series on prayer being sponsored by the Stewardship Council throughout this Year of Prayer.

All Saint's Day-Obligation Lifted

All Saint's Day
November 1st
The Obligation has been lifted this year



All Saint's Day Solemnity will be celebrated at the 8:00 a.m. Mass on Saturday, November 1st in the Chapel.

Since November 2nd falls on a Sunday this year, the Mass celebrated is that of the Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed (All Soul's Day). The names of parishioners who entered eternal life during the past year will be read during the 10:30 a.m. Mass.

Identity Theft Seminar

Identity Theft Seminar

Join us this Thursday for an informative talk on protecting yourself from identity theft. The talk is hosted by Encore and will be presented by Frank Coffman. Mr. Coffman is currently assigned to the U.S. Secret Service office in Muskogee. He has 16 years of service on protection detail for President Obama, President Bush, President Clinton and President George H.W. Bush.

The seminar is open to all parishioners and we encourage you to bring your family and friends. Learn how to protect yourself against this ever growing crime.

School Supplies Needed!



Steven Trantham, son of preschool teacher Venus Trantham, is in the Air Force stationed presently in Montana at Malmstrom Airforce Base. His unit along with the AFRICOM Humanitarian Mission is gathering donations of school and art supplies for the children of the horn of Africa region.   The children in the area know more about war and guns than paint and crayons. Please consider donating to this worthy cause and to help a wish list has been established on Amazon to take advantage of Amazon free shipping.

We need to act quickly; all items must be shipped to Montana by October 22 to be available as the troops fly out on November 1.

Our next Parish-wide Day of Service is Saturday, Oct. 18th. We have seven projects with something available for all ages.

The Day of Service schedule:

8:00 a.m. - Mass
9:00 a.m. - Service Projects
11:30 a.m. - Reflection and Lunch

Blankets Needed for Social Justice Ministry!

The temperatures are cooling off and those without warm homes need our help!


Our Social Justice Ministry is in great need of blankets to give to those who need warmth during the cold months. If you can help, please drop off blankets at the Office Annex or bring to Mass and leave in the carts at the entrance.
