A parishioner forwarded some news coverage from the SOLT Haiti Mission in Kobonal that Father Glenn Meaux founded and supports. Our church and school has helped in assisting this mission for many years. Father Meaux will be visiting St. Mary again in September.
A trip to Haiti with Father Kastl is now slated for the first week of November. Those going will be able to provide additional video and information to share with our school and church. The purpose of this trip is to gain the knowledge and experience necessary to plan for larger groups to visit and assist the mission on a regular basis.
