Help Feed Hungry People: From the Justice and Peace Ministry

Food is a basic need, and it is unjust that so many people go without enough to eat! God’s grace in Christ moves us to help our neighbors no matter where they live. Confronting the problem of hunger can seem overwhelming. What can we do? Plenty!

Make your voices heard in 2 ways!

1) Bring a non-perishable food item to mass each week. Lately, our Saint Mary community outreach pantry is empty by Tuesday each week. The food pantry depends on everyone – especially during the summer when children are not in school. Please help!

2) Speak out for the needs of hungry and poor people.
Ask your representatives to keep and protect important government funding for programs that help get food to our nation's hungry.
