Young Adults Bible Study

This week, Young Adults starts a new series of gatherings on the First Wednesday of every month that focus on building our faith and knowledge of the Church. The format will vary; we’ll have talks, do Bible studies, or read something together. Suggestions are welcome. There won’t be a teacher or homework, just an opportunity for us to share experiences, struggles, and insights as young adult Catholics.

To start things off, we will read Matthew Kelly’s book Rediscover Catholicism. The Church handed them out free several months ago, so many of you may have a copy. If not, you can get one for $5.95 on this website. The book is divided into four parts, so we’ll take four months to read it. For our first gathering, read Part I; take note of anything that especially interests, intrigues, or confuses you. We will meet at my house (please email me for directions) on August 3rd from 7:30-8:30.

It will be good fellowship and interesting conversation, so please come even if you haven't gotten to read the first part of the book. Also, don't worry if you haven't come to all of them, you are welcome nomatter what. This is a kid-friendly event, so don't let the little one stop you from coming either.
