We are sending out this request for prayers for our Senior Pastor, Fr. Jack. As most parishioners know Fr. Jack has been on vacation with his priest group in North Dakota. Yesterday, while horseback riding, his horse got spooked and jumped a fence and was unable to be controlled. While Fr. Jack is an excellent horseman and has fantastic riding skills, he was not able to control the horse and was thrown. He is currently in the hospital with 8 broken ribs and a bruise on his lung. Several staff members have spoken with him and report that he is in good spirits. We will keep you informed of his recovery. For now please keep him in your prayers.
In addition, we ask for your prayers for Ginny Lane as she travels to be with her sister, Barbara Driscoll, who is in the final stage of her life. Ginny has been called home to be with her sister and family. Please pray for safe travels and God's peace during this difficult time.
Msgr. Dorney and Fr. Todd are both available for any pastoral needs for our parishioners while Fr. Jack and Ginny are gone.
